The Chennai Express Effect: SRK, Deepika lived only on biscuits

Yes, you read it right. As per the recent reports,
Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Rohit Shetty had to literally live only on biscuits for a week, while shooting for an important train sequence in Chennai Express. According to media reports, over 200 people were shooting for an important train sequence at Dudhsagar, Goa. There were tight timelines for the concerned. A team member told Bollywood Hungama, "There was lunch prepared for us but we realized that by the time we were ready for it, it was rotten." It was then decided that the crew would survive on biscuits for a week, until the shooting for the concerned scene gets over. A while ago, when Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were shooting in Kashmir for their film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the actors and the crew had to survive on eggs and noodles. "It was a big hassle to take food to that height, so everyone had to survive on eggs and instant noodles for a few days," a source had informed a leading daily.
